Find any 203- phone number in Connecticut

The 203 area code is the telephone area code for most of the southwestern part of the U.S. state of Connecticut. It includes the cities of Bridgeport, New Haven, Waterbury, Milford, Greenwich, Stamford and Norwalk. The code was created in 1953 when it was split off from the latter portion of the 914 area code, and it was the first area code in Connecticut to come into use.

203 is part of the North American Numbering Plan, which is a system used by all telephone companies across the United States and Canada to assign area codes to particular regions and cities. This plan was implemented in 1947 and is maintained by the North American Numbering Plan Administration. The purpose of the plan is to ensure that every telephone caller can be accurately located and contacted by providing an efficient common numbering system. By assigning a three-digit code to each region or area, telecommunication carriers can rapidly determine the area where a caller is calling from.
