Find any 403- phone number in Alberta

The 403 area code refers to the North American Numbering Plan (NANP) area code for the province of Alberta, Canada. It is used primarily for landline and mobile telephone services for Alberta. This area code stretches across the majority of the province and covers the entire region, giving all Alberta phone services the same access number.

The 403 area code was implemented in 1947 to provide a uniform telephone numbering system across North America. It was the first area code created after the NANP was established in 1947, and it was initially implemented in Alberta as well as much of the Canadian northwest. For much of its history, the 403 area code was the only one used in Alberta until 1999, when 780 was added as well to serve Edmonton and the northern part of the province. It is now one of two area codes used in the province and provides access to many rural and remote areas in Alberta.
