Find any 767- phone number in Dominica

The 767 area code is a telephone numbering plan code that serves the island of Dominica in the Caribbean. This area code is part of the North American Numbering Plan (NANP). It was established in 1998 and replaced the former 809 area code. This area code is also shared among the British Virgin Islands, Anguilla, Greenland, and the Dominican Republic exclave of Sans Saens.

The purpose of the North American Numbering Plan is to reduce the cost and confusion of toll dialing by ensuring that calls placed between two NANP countries, such as Dominica and the British Virgin Islands, have a consistent country code and reduced costs when dialing. The NANP also allows for routing calls more efficiently in order to reduce congested lines and speeds up dialing times. As with other countries’ codes in the North American Numbering Plan, the 767 area code is divided into several sub-regions, known as rate centers, which are usually geographically distinct.
