Find any 959- phone number in Connecticut

The 959 area code is an area code used by Connecticut in the North American Numbering Plan (NANP). This area code is relatively new, having been created in August 2014 as an overlay to the existing 860 and 959 area codes serving Connecticut. Its service area includes Connecticut's Hartford and Windham counties, as well as the surrounding ones. In the Washington, DC-Baltimore-Northern Virginia Combined Statistical Area, it is the second most populous area code behind 202.

The NANP assigns numbering plan area codes to geographical areas in the various countries that use the system. Area codes are three-digit codes that traditionally form the prefix for telephone numbers in North America. Each area code contains one or more central office codes, which assign seven-digit phone numbers to individual customers. As the total amount of telephone numbers in an area decreases, new area codes may be assigned to the area. This is the case for Connecticut and other states which now use multiple area codes to ensure customers have access to more available telephone numbers.
