Find any 307- phone number in Wyoming
The 307 area code is the telephone area code assigned to Wyoming in the U.S. It began service in July 2001, when it was split from the area code 406. Wyoming is one of the few states that only has one area code.
The North American Numbering Plan (NANP) divides telephone numbers into geographic areas by dividing each area into regions. These regions are then assigned area codes based on their size and population. An area code typically corresponds to a city, state, or province, but can also widely cover a large region. For example, the North American Numbering Plan divides Wyoming into a single area code, allowing all its population to use the same area code. Area codes are intended to make dialing easier and faster by eliminating the need to memorize long telephone numbers.
